ACADEMIC CURRICULUM
- NINS adheres to the NEP 2020 to deal with academics. The curricular and pedagogical structure at NINS is guided by the 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 design, corresponding to the age ranges of 3 to 8, 8 to 11, 11 to 14 and 14 to 18 years respectively.
- It follows the NCERT curriculum
- The Foundational Stage consists of flexible, multilevel, activity-based learning and the curriculum and pedagogy of ECCE
- The Preparatory Stage is built on play, discovery and activity-based pedagogy and curriculum style. Light text books and aspects of more formal but interactive classroom learning will be introduced for laying solid groundwork across subjects
- The Upper Primary or Middle Stage introduces students to subject-teachers for learning and discussion of more abstract concepts in each subject. Emphasis on experimental learning within each subject and explorations of relations among different subjects, know as the integrated approach, is followed
- The core essentials of curricular content are dealt with in a holistic and critical manner
- Integration of art, in various forms, into education for creating joyful classrooms

- Sanskrit as a non-assessed fourth language will be taught from 6 to 10 years of age. Age 10 onward it will be considered for assessment
